There are two types of tourist visa. These are:
- Single Entry Visa and
- Double Entry Visa
There are no multi entry visas for tourists
For single entry visas, you must enter China within 3 months from when the visa is granted. For double entry visas, you must enter China within 6 months from when the visa is granted. The default length of visa will be 30 days although we can usually get you single and double entry visas for 60 days stay per entry – Contact us for guidance.
Documents required for Tourist Visas
- Passport validity of at least 6 months
Two totally blank pages in your passport (does not include the page reserved for “observations”). One page is for the visa, the other is for the stamp. - A recent passport photograph.
- Completed china visa application forms.
- Signed customer declaration form.
- Invitation letter from a Chinese organization or a permanent resident in China; or Air ticket booking record (round trip) and hotel reservation.
- Copy of invitee’s resident permit, if non Chinese passport holder or local id card, if Chinese passport holder are also required.
- Non UK passport holder should provide the original and a copy of his or her permanent residence or work permit which should be valid for at least half a year.
Also note, the Embassy does not allow Express service for French passport holders.

Postage & Packaging Charges
- £7 for postage and packaging special delivery.
- £17 for guaranteed before 9.
- £11 guaranteed on saturday and
- £20 guaranteed saturday before 9am
Same day Chinese visa applications must be submitted before 10am and your visa will be ready for collection after 3pm on the same day.
Unique Visa Services do not take payment until the passport is submitted to the embassy.
